Armando Edmiston is committed to helping those who have sustained injuries overcome their own hurdles and regain control of their lives. He understands an injury can transform someone, both physically and emotionally. Armando will be there for those who have been struck by tragedy and don’t know what to do next. Armando’s passion in life has always been to help people. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, he was raised in a community where everyone did whatever they could to help each other, no matter who they were. It was instilled in him at a young age to always treat every person you meet with respect and kindness. At the age of 3, Armando’s family moved to the US and settled in Plant City, FL where his grandparents lived. With the guidance of his grandfather, a prominent leader in the community, Armando was inspired to go down a path that has led him to where he is today.
After graduating high school Armando joined the Marine Corp and then went on to attend College at the University of South Florida where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, was on the Dean’s list and a member of the Gold Key Club. Armando Edmiston then attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale where he graduated in the top 15% of his class (Cum Laude). While attending law school, he made the Dean’s list and received a Book Award. Armando was also a member of the Hispanic Law Student Association, American Bar Association and a volunteer for Reading for Life. During his tenure at Nova Southeastern, Armando worked as a law clerk for Boose, Casey, Ciklin, et al. in West Palm Beach dealing with family law, contracts and securities issues, and for the Law Offices of Asnis, Srebnick & Kaufman in Sunrise, FL, where he managed an entire pre-litigation claims department for personal injury victims.
After law school graduation, Armando Edmiston worked for the Youngblood Law Firm in Tampa, Florida as an Associate Attorney representing victims in State and Federal Court in personal injury and medical malpractice claims. Armando then became an Assistant Public Defender for the 13th Judicial Circuit wherein he represented defendants accused of criminal acts in misdemeanor, felony and traffic courts. Thereafter Armando opened his own law practice in Historic Hyde Park and have utilized his prior experiences to obtain successful outcomes for his clients.
Armando is bilingual in Spanish. On his time off, he enjoys weight lifting, hunting, fishing, traveling and working with under privileged troubled teens.
